....meditation on impermanence in a town leveled to build an airport.

​

The site of Ogawa Productions' documentary film "Heta Village" (1973) is expected to disappear due to expansion work at Narita Airport. All of the houses in Heta Village were relocated about 20 years ago, and it is now uninhabited. We documented this former Heta Village and, using archival audio left behind by Ogawa Productions, collaboratively produced several short films.

「この部落を壊しにきたか？」

 

空港建設のために破壊された町での無常についての瞑想。

​

小川プロダクションの記録映画『三里塚・辺田部落』の舞台となった地域が成田空港の拡張工事により消失する見込みです。辺田部落は約20年前に全戸移転し現在は無人です。私たちは、この旧辺田部落を記録し、小川プロが残したラッシュフィルムも活用して若手クリエイターとともに数本の短編作品を作りました。
